About
As a lifelong artist, I’m always looking for the next opportunity to translate my everyday experiences into artistic expressions. Since moving to London I’ve led a life fully devoted to the arts.
I'm a London-based freelance contemporary dance artist. With my roots originating in Spain.
I've trained in Murcia at the Conservatorio Profesional de Danza y Arte Dramático, in both ballet and contemporary technique. Alongside my professional training, I completed a degree in Law. I have an MA in Dance technique and research in dance pedagogy from Middlesex University.
I've collaborated with other artists from different disciplines, such as Rachel Cheung, Laura Wilson; Sophie Walker; Kira Zhi , Francesca Banchelli among others.
As a teacher, I began in my hometown of Murcia, where I taught several workshops (2010-2011). During my years working with SQxdance, I gave workshops throughout Canada (British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario, Nova Scotia) to both dance schools and public schools within the company's training programs (2013-2015). I am head of Ballet and Contemporary at Susan Handy Dance in Windsor, and part of the team of educators of Rambert Grades and SJD company, in addition to workshops in Europe. I am also an examiner for Rambert Grades.
As a choreographer, I've done works for both scene and dance videos. In the field of video dance I've collaborated with Devin Howell; Ashley Panton; Stephen Ofori.
My work has been performed and toured national and internationally, into theatres and non-theatre spaces. My work "Duelo por un tiempo que una vez fue" was part of the Reactivos Cultutrales 2020 and was screened nationally and internationally.
